I love pink. I know that makes me a total girl, but ever since I watched the "Think Pink" sequence from Funny Face as a child, I've been obsessed with the hue. It's what I wanted to paint my room, it's all I wanted to wear... in fact, my first ever designer purchase was a Marc Jacobs trench coat in, you guessed it, the palest shade of powder pink.
For Valentine's Day this year, I wanted to recreate a look I've been obsessed with lately. To do so, Nicole took Chanel Illusion D'Ombre Eyeshadow in Fantasme and layered Pat McGrath Labs' Clear Gloss (sold out, but THIS is a great dupe) over top to create a super glossy eye (complete with false, fluttery lashes, naturally). She then lined my lips with Annabelle's Stay Sharp Crayon in Vintage and topped it with Bite Beauty's Amuse Bouche Lipstick in Sorbet. Also, this ultra-perfect shade of foundation is Chanel Perfection Lumière in 12 Beige Rosé - literally the closest match to my skin tone I've EVER found. And, as per usual, I asked my super hairo Niki to create something that looks just a little bit undone, so she encouraged me to embrace my baby hairs and not shy away from hair accessories, her favourite hair trend of the season.
