Camo Coat

As much as I've been loving scrolling through all the latest streetstyle photos from Milan and Paris fashion weeks, I can't say I've been feeling very inspired. While I love all the looks featuring bare legs, heels and light jackets, I simply can't relate when it is -20 degrees Celsius out my window. It's now that point in the Canadian winter where going outside without a parka and Sorels is not only impractical, it's impossible (and any blogger who tells you differently is LYING... or at least a lot braver than I!)
These photos were taken on yet another coffee run (in front of my neighbour's house, who apparently has no interest in taking down his Christmas decorations, despite it now being March). Or, more precisely, a tea latte run. Now that David's Tea has opened in my area, I've been slightly more inclined to brave the cold to walk and get my tea fix. Thank goodness Santa put so many David's Tea gift cards in my stocking this Christmas, or my wallet would be suffering. My favourite right now? Red Velvet Cake.

Wearing: Boohoo Jacket (similar jackets here and here), Joe Fresh t-shirt (similar here), Wilfred Free sweatpants (similar pairs here and here), Suede boots from Hudson's Bay (similar here), Wilfred beanie. x E

  2. I am all about my sorels lately, minus 27 in Ottawa today! So my cute shoes get packed in a tote only to emerge once I get to work.

  13. Love the camo mixed with the stripes! And you're so right - unless you want to catch hypothermia, you can't be wearing short shorts when it's winter in Canada ; )
