I am so obsessed with my iPad, it's not funny. I wish I was lying when I said I slept next to it at night (mostly because I fall asleep reading on it, not for snuggling purposes, obviously). I'm always a little late to the technology party; I held onto my Blackberry far longer than I should have and didn't get a smartphone until a few months ago. But since getting the iPad mini, that's all changed. I do absolutely everything on it & I'm worried I'm turning into a tech-aholic.
I took these pictures while we were away over Easter weekend. After going through my luggage, I realized that all the outfits I'd packed involved a striped top and black bottoms (as evidenced here on Instagram). I also only packed one bag, my Balenciaga, which I know is getting a little overused on this blog. I promise this is the last time you'll see it for a while!

Wearing: Zara top (similar styles here, here and here), Wilfred leather leggings, Zara heels (similar styles here, here and here), Balenciaga bag, iPad Mini (on sale!), NARS Satin Lip Pencil in Palais Royal. xE

Great look!!
ReplyDeleteI didn´t used to be very keen on technology but that is changing!!!

Still loving those leather leggings. They fit you so beautifully. And ditto on the tech note, I've been obsessed since high school, and I always put quirky new gadgets before fashion purchases. Such a vice, such a vice!

I love this outfit! So simple yet so chic! xo S.
ReplyDeleteStripey top and black trousers are my to go pieces - they are so versatile! And you have definitely pulled this look very well with the pointy heels and red lips. Don't worry about turning tech-aolic - I think bloggers are cursed with it, so you're not alone!
ReplyDeleteI'm very happy to found you can we follow each other? Kiss

I can't stop looking at your hair! It looks so amazing and fabulous! Can you please share what tools you use?! Yes, I still live in Hawaii and it's so exciting that you're coming here! I live in Honolulu and if you're coming here, I would absolutely recommend you renting a car to go around the island as it's easier to explore. Don't go to the beaches on the weekends as it's extremely crowded. (Go on weekdays like Mondays or Tuesdays). You should go to Waimea Valley as it's one of the most beautiful places and you can swim at the waterfall! I live in the middle of Waikiki but you will easily get bored here unless you want to shop. There are usual department stores like Macy's and every designer brand you can think of but you should check out the Ala Moana Center and Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center just because walking around there is fun but you'll get exhausted pretty quick because there are so many tourists to push through. The store that I go shop at the Ala Moana Center is called "Spiral Girl" and they have really nice brands from Japan! You could also go visit Downtown China and check out the art galleries. Also the Honolulu Academy of Arts is a good place to browse the paintings and Hawaiian art. For eating, Breakfast is pretty good at Eggs N'Things, Yogur Story (best waffles!) and Sweet E's Cafe. For Lunch, I would say go to The Nordstrom Markeplace Cafe (try their tomato soup), and "EAT" (great burgers and fries!). For Dinner, the options are limitless but my personal favorite to go to is Stage Restaurant (You get to see pretty furniture there too). I hope it was helpful. Do you know anyone in Hawaii? Are you staying at a hotel? You can always give me a call at 808-631-8167 or email me at teknofriend@gmail.com. I work from 8:30AM to 6:00PM weekdays but if you need help or anything, feel free to call :-)
