I'm Obsessed With You: February 18th

There are so many amazing things I want to buy right now. I'm currently trying to do "No Spend February", and while I haven't been entirely successful, I'm going to do my best to hold off on any of these purchases until next month. In the meantime, let me know what you think - I'd love your input on some of my recent obsessions!

1) p.s. Besitos Alice in Wonderland Purse Clutch (Available Here)

When I found this shop on Etsy, I nearly cried out of joy. As an English major, and more broadly as someone who grew up living in the imaginary worlds of the books I was reading, I feel such a close bond to my favourite novels. I think that is part of the appeal of Olympia Le-Tan's clutches, the ability to express your inner bookworm in a fashionable way. Still, I don't think I could quite bring myself to spend that amount of money on a bag I can't fit my entire life into. While these book clutches by p.s. Besitos aren't hand stitched like Le-Tan's, they are handmade and available at a completely reasonable price, which I love, and the selection of book cover choices are all perfect.

2) Benefit Fine One One Tint (Available Here)
When I received a sample of this in my Topbox last month, I was prepared to hate it. The three colours were so bright, I figured that on my pale skin, they would make me look like an over-rouged doll. I was happily proven wrong. This product claims to "lift, shape and pop" and it really does just that. I can honestly say that my cheekbones have never looked more defined and naturally flushed. From all the reviews I've read, it's great for all skin tones.

3) Illume Boulangerie Candle in Sweet Vanilla Cinnamon (Available Here)
This is probably my favourite candle right now. I absolutely love how it makes my apartment smell - like delicious baked goods, minus the work of actually baking. It's so important to me that my home environment smells yummy, and I like rotating between dessert scented candles like this, this and this, musks like this, and floral (specifically rose) scents like this amazing duo of Diptyque scents and my perennial favourite, Jo Malone Red Roses

4) Kate Spade Little Minka Satchel (Available Here)
I picked up this purse while browsing the Kate Spade boutique in the recent expansion at Yorkdale Mall and have not stopped thinking about it since. The colour, the handles and the shape make it, in my mind, the perfect bag for everyday use and for travelling. I also love it in the mint green shade for spring.

5) Galisfly Rose Gold Knuckle Rings (Available Here)
Like everyone else I know, I love knuckle rings by Catbird. Still, I find the price tag per ring more than a little prohibitive, especially for something so small and, in the case of an absent minded person like me, something so easily lost. These rose gold knuckle rings come in a set of four for under $16... and that's the joy of Etsy right there.

What do you think? Is there anything you're obsessed with right now that I should know about?

  5. I am very intrigued about this Benefit product - I am also very pale and I've been looking for a good highlighter/blusher but haven't been able to find anything suitable for my skin. The colours definitely look super bright, but if you say they don't make you look like a doll, then I am willing to try it out, too!

And the knuckle rings are gorgeous.... I might have to visit this Etsy shop and get my hands on them!

  8. Hey, some of your candle links don't seem to be working! The Jo Malone red roses, for example, linked to a skater dress on ASOS. Only pointing it out because I'm interested in the candles!!
