FNO 2012 - Toronto

As I'm sure all of you know, last night was Fashion's Night Out! For the first time ever, the event hit Toronto, and it did so with a bang! I had my girlfriend Niki accompany me throughout the night, and we had a fantastic time travelling all over the city and seeing the various events. Our first stop was Yorkdale mall, where they held a fashion show and had various makeup artists and stylists giving out advice for fall.
Our second stop of the night was Holt Renfrew, where they shut down an entire block of Bloor Street for their huge event, which was half for FNO and half in celebration of their 175th Anniversary! They gave out magenta party hats and collaboration bottles of Diet Coke. The real highlight for me was seeing all the incredible collaborations they had for sale inside in honour of their birthday, including limited edition blazers by Smythe, nail polishes by Deborah Lippmann, hot pink jeans by Rag & Bone and blankets by Pendleton. To see all of the awesome collaboration pieces, take a better look here.

I was meant to tweet throughout the night, but both Niki's phone and mine were the definition of BUSTED! Mine would show nothing but the sad white Error screen, and hers was more of a iCracked than an iPhone. Needless to say, any kind of on-the-go social media was pretty much impossible.
Big thank you to Yorkdale Shopping Centre for providing us with car service and hosting a great party, and to Holt Renfrew for throwing one of the pinkest, most fabulous block parties ever! I'm wearing: Wilfred Le Fou dress, Steven boots (similar styles here and here), Tory Burch bag. x E

  10. I almost attempted to make it. Almost. Albeit, I did hear great things about the inaugural of Toronto's first FNO. I'm going to attempt to somehow attend Toronto Fashion Week.
