if this isn't love, I don't think I can handle the real thing

Sometimes I get bored, pin up my hair and pretend I cut it short. I also like to wear slightly questionable housecoats as outerwear. I bought it at a vintage event and like to think it was worn by an outrageous old lady who smoked cigarettes with an ivory cigarette holder and lived until she was one hundred and six years old, somewhat like Ms. Dinsmoor in the 1998 film adaption of Great Expectations.

Hope you all had a fabulous Halloween. I wore a pirate costume intended for children ages 7 and 8 from the little boys section of the Disney Store.

P.S. Check out my feature on the American Apparel website in the new "Seen on Bloggers" tab for my FAVOURITE AA piece, the Super Sheer Circle Scarf.

#2 bedroom attire is always acceptable as outerwear

  59. you look so different here! in a surprising but great way, less rock chic, more lovely eccentricity.
and that hair is delicious, if you ever get tired of your current look you should definitely think about cutting it that length- I am currently playing with the thought of cutting my hair really short, some sort of elf-like look with milky blonde highlights.. would be cool but I don't know if I have the guts.

hope you're fine and quit looking for potential husbands in the library, haha.
as for me, I couldn't find myself any and will thus stick to the seduction that is nietzsche.
